If you use the information posted on Scarburgh Parker, the daugther of William and niece of Major George (wife Mary) as cited in digest #513 she would have been approx 22 years older than the above Henry Custis and sixty one at the time of his death and 61+ when she married Robert Russell makes improbable that this Scarburgh Parker is the wife of Henry Custis.

Using the circa birth date supplied above and adding 25 a circa marriage date for Henry Custis it can be approximated that Henry married circa 1738 and that his wife Scarburgh was born circa 1720.

Whitelaw, p 721 puts forth a good case for Scarburgh Custis being the daughter of Charles Parker by the land he followed (A37).

Will of James Stewart (1776-1860)

I, James Stewart, of the county of Northampton and State of Virginia, being weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and ordain this instrument of writing to be my last will and testament.

Firstly, I hereby authorise and empower my executors herein named to make sale of my real estate, the same being the land on which I now reside, and my personal estate, and out of the proceeds thereof, first, to pay all of my just debts and then the legacies hereinafter made and specified; the legacies to become due and payable within twelve months after the date of my demise; excepting, however, from sale, the legacies hereinafter made.

Secondly, I give and devise to my beloved wife, Sarah Ann, the one seventh part of the net proceeds of the sale of my real estate, in lieu of her dower therein, and I also give her the further sum of fifty dollars, in lieu of her dower in my Negro woman hereinafter given away: provided, however, should my said wife refuse to accept the said sum of fifty dollars as her dower in lieu of said Negro woman, I give the same sum of fifty dollars to my son, Hugh G. Stewart, in trust for the use and benefit of my daughters, Harriet S. Cottingham and Rosy A. Stewart, to be disposed of by him equally between them as hereinafter specified in the devise made to him for their use and benefit.

Thirdly, I give and devise to my son Hugh G. Stewart, for the sale use and benefit of my daughters, Harriet S. Cottingham and Rosy A. Stewart, the sum of three hundred dollars; the same to be equally used and divided between them by him. And I hereby authorise, empower and direct my said son, in their equal proportion of the same, to pay to them and each of them, in such sum or sums, either of the interest and principal of the said gift, as the necessity or interest of either or both of them may require, and he shall deem advisable and their interest and welfare may require. And I also give to him, my said son, Hugh G. Stewart, for the sole use and benefit of my said daughters, Harriet S. Cottingham and Rosy A. Stewart, my Negro woman called Ara. And should my wife, Sarah Ann, refuse to accept the sum of fifty dollars herein before devised to her in lieu of her dower in said Negro woman, I give the said sum of fifty dollars to my said son, Hugh G. Stewart, to be equally divided between and distributed as herein before directed between my daughters, Harriet S. Cottingham and Rosy A. Stewart, as aforesaid.

Fourthly, I give and devise to my son, Hugh G. Stewart, the sum of two hundred and twenty five dollars for the sole use and benefit of my daughter, Tabitha Margaret Susan Wilkins, and I direct and authorise my said son to pay to, and to the order of, my said daughter, Tabitha M. S. Wilkins, any portion or part of the said sum, devised for her use and benefit, either of interest or principal thereof, as shall be deemed by him advisable and beneficial for her interest or necessities may require.

Fifthly, I give and devise to my son, Lewis W. Stewart, my colt called Georgeanna, and the sum of three hundred dollars; also a bed and bolster - of the third choice to be by him selected.

Sixthly, I give and devise to my son, Hugh G. Stewart, my Negro man named Goe, and also my mare, called Sally Harman.

Seventhly, I give and devise to my grand-daughters, Cleavland and Tabitha Dunton, the daughters of my daughter Ann Dunton, the sum of twenty five dollars, each.

Eighthly, I give and devise to my daughters, Harriet S. Cottingham and Rosy A. Stewart, one bed, bolster, bedstead and a full and complete bed furniture for the same of the second choice to be by them selected.

Ninthly, I give and devise all the rest and remainder of my estate of every kind and description, after the payment of my debts and the legacies aforementioned and specified to be equally divided between my daughter, Elizabeth B. Nicholson, and sons, William B. Stewart, James H. Stewart, John L. Stewart, and Joshua B. Stewart.

Tenthly, It is my will that if my absent sons, or either of them, (or their, or either of their descendants), whom I long since have presumed to be deceased, Thomas B. Stewart and George B. Stewart, shall however, hereafter make known their existence, that they, nor their, or either of their heirs shall make claim to or demand of any part or portion of my estate whatever.

Eleventhly and lastly, I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my sons, John L. Stewart and Lewis W. Stewart, executors to this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all other and former wills by me heretofore made.

In testimony whereof I have unto set my hand and affix my seal, this the tenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty.

Signed, sealed, published and declared as and for the last will and testament of the testator, in the presence and hearing of the subscribed, who, at his request, and his presence, have hereunto subscribed their names as witnesses.
