Will of Weatherington Fitchitt of the County of Accomacke Virginia

In the name of God amen, I Weatherington Fitchitt of the County of

Accomacke Virginia being weak in body but in perfect strength of memory

thanks be to God for it: do think fit to make this my last will and

Testament my soul I Recommend to my maker and redeemr. my body I committ to

the Earth with all decent buriall at the discression of my Executrix

hereafter named as for what Estate it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I

give & bequeath as followeth Vizt.  Item  I give unto my son John Fitchitt

and his heirs forever all my Land after my wifes decease and priviledge to

my three daughters for to live and use the same: for to make Corn & the

like for the time of their Maidenhood.  Item  I give to my two sons John &

Joshua Fitchitt my stilards and my Gunn to Joshua:  Item  I give to my

three daughters: my Hackle.  Item  I give unto my daughter Rachell my Spice

mortar.  Item  I give unto my two sons each of them one pewter dish: and a

Dish to my daughter Rachell: and a yearling heifer.  Item  I give the rest

of my Children Each of the one pewter dish.  Item  all the rest of my

Estate I give unto my Loving  wife Elizabeth Fitchitt during the time of

her widdowhood but if in case she should marry then my will is my sd.

Estate shall be equally divided amongst my Children my wife haveing an

equall part with them.  Lastly I do appoint my Loveing wife Elizabeth

Fitchitt my Sole Executrix to this my Last will & Testamt. Whereunto I set

my hand & seal this 4th day of November 1727

The within Last Will and Testament of Weatherington Fitchett deceased being

proved by the oaths of John Johnson Bayly Hinman and Dennis Kelly the three

Witnesses thereunto Subscribed and admitted to record
