She married William Major UPSHUR in Cheriton, Virginia, 26 Oct 1892. (William Major UPSHUR is #31.) William was born in Northampton County 19 Dec 1861. William was the son of Arthur Downing UPSHUR and Lucretia Ann MAJOR. William died 4 Jun 1927 in Cheriton, Virginia, at 65 years of age. At 32 years of age William became the father of Florence Adelaide UPSHUR in Cheriton, Virginia, 10 Dec 1894. (See William Major UPSHUR for the children resulting from this marriage.)

At 22 years of age Caroline became the mother of Florence Adelaide UPSHUR in Cheriton, Virginia, 10 Dec 1894.
