He married Rosala of Ivrea circa 980.⁽¹¹²⁹⁾ Rosala was born circa 960. Rosala⁽¹¹³⁰⁾ was the daughter of Berengar II Marquess of Ivrea King of Italy.

Arnulf II Count of Flanders and Rosala of Ivrea had the following child:

+ 271 i. Baldwin IV²⁴ was born circa 980.⁽¹¹³¹⁾
