He married Aelfthryth 884.⁽¹³¹⁸⁾ Aelfthryth was born circa 871.⁽¹³¹⁹⁾ Aelfthryth⁽¹³²⁰⁾ was the daughter of Alfred the Great King of England. Aelfthryth died 7 Jun 929 at 57 years of age.⁽¹³²¹⁾

Baldwin II Count of Flanders and Aelfthryth had the following child:
