He married Gerberga of Saxony 939.⁽¹⁰⁶⁹⁾ Gerberga was born circa 920. Gerberga⁽¹⁰⁷⁰⁾ was the daughter of Henry I the Fowler King of Saxony & Emperor. Gerberga died 5 May 984 at 63 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁷¹⁾
