He married Adelaide of Poitou before 969.⁽⁹⁴¹⁾ Adelaide was born circa 945/50. Adelaide⁽⁹⁴²⁾ was the daughter of William I (Count of Poitou) and Gerloc 'Adele'. Adelaide died 1004 at 59 years of age.⁽⁹⁴³⁾

Hugh Capet King of France and Adelaide of Poitou had the following children:

245 ii. Hedwige Capet⁽⁹⁴⁵⁾ was born in France, circa 975.
