He married Constance of Toulouse 998.⁽⁸⁵⁵⁾ Constance was born circa 970 in France. Constance⁽⁸⁵⁶⁾ was the daughter of William (Count of Toulouse). Constance died 1033 at 63 years of age.⁽⁸⁵⁷⁾

Robert II Capet the Pious, King of France and Constance of Toulouse had the following children:

+ 181 i. Henry I²¹ Capet King of France was born circa 1005/6.⁽⁸⁵⁸⁾

+ 215 ii. Adelaide 'Adele' Capet was born circa 1007.
