James C. Willis (1817-1853) married Margaret R. Beach on March 16, 1847. she later married James H. Harmon December 22, 1856.

Elizabeth (Bettie) Cathrine Willis (1841-1906) married James T. Mapp.

James C. Willis & Margaret Beach Willis had 1 child. James & Margaret were married after his mother died. He received an extra farm (2) for not marrying while his mother was alive. After his death, his widow, Margaret Beach Willis married James H. Harmon December 23, 1856. Bettie C. Willis Mapp called him uncle Harmon. She was 6 years old when parents married. Parents married 1847, Bettie born 1841. Margaret Ann Mapp said her mother Bettie C. Willis always called her step-father, James H. Harmon, Uncle Harmon.
