He married Hillaria De Hastings circa 1254.⁽³⁶⁷⁾ Hillaria was born circa 1220 in Ashill, Co Norfolk, England.⁽³⁶⁸⁾ Hillaria⁽³⁶⁹⁾ was the daughter of Sir Henry De Hastings and Ada of Huntingdon.

Sir William De Harcourt and Hillaria De Hastings had the following child:
