2. John West Lt.Col. was born on 8 Apr 1638. He died on 27 May 1703.

He was married to Matilda Scarburgh (daughter of Col. Edmund Scarburgh II and Mary Littleton) in 1660/61. Matilda Scarburgh was born in 1646. She died in 1721. John West Lt.Col. and Matilda Scarburgh had the following children:
